Norwood-Norfolk HS is located a stones throw from the Canadian border in St.Lawrence County. It is approximately halfway between Potsdam and Massena. Be prepared for a LONG (350 mile -6 1/2 hour)but scenic drive, especially once you get past Albany. Take I-87 north to Exit 24 merging onto I87N/I-90E toward Albany/Montreal. Take Exit 1N to stay on I-87 Albany International Airport/Montreal. Continue on I-87 to Exit 30. You'll make a Left to pick up Rt.9 and in about 2 miles bear Left onto Rt.73/Keene Valley/Keene. In about 26 miles, another slight left onto CR-34/Old Military Road which is in Lake Placid. You'll probably see plenty of structures built for the Olympics at this point. In 3 1/2 miles bear Left again onto Rt-86 and continue on Rt-86 through Saranac Lake. Then Right on Rt-30 for 9 miles and then Left on Rt-458 for 15 miles. Bear Left onto Wait Road which in a short distance comes back into Rt-458. In 6 miles it's Left onto Rt-11B, then Right at CR-49/Fort Jackson-Hopkinton Road. In 6 miles make Left onto US-11. In 4 miles marke Right at CR-47/Knapps Station Road. In 7 1/2 miles it's Right onto Rt-56 then quickly Left onto CR-38A/W Main Street.
